Terms and Conditions

1. About ViewMetrics

ViewMetrics is a creator analytics and reporting platform that allows users to connect third-party accounts (such as YouTube) in order to import, analyse, organise and report on content performance data.

ViewMetrics is operated by White Label Digital Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, with its registered office at 23 Vicarage Street, Frome, BA11 1PU.

2. Eligibility

You must:

  • Be at least 18 years old, and

  • Have the legal authority to enter into these Terms, and

  • Have the right to connect any third-party accounts you link to ViewMetrics.

By using ViewMetrics, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

3. Accounts and Authentication

3.1 Account creation

You create an account using email-based authentication (magic link login). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your access and for all activity under your account.

3.2 Accuracy of information

You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information and to keep your account details current.

4. Connecting Third-Party Services

4.1 Authorisation

ViewMetrics allows you to connect third-party platforms (such as YouTube, Meta, TikTok) using OAuth or similar authorisation mechanisms.

By connecting an account, you:

  • Authorise ViewMetrics to access data made available by that platform

  • Confirm you have the right to grant that access

  • Acknowledge that ViewMetrics acts only on your behalf

4.2 Scope of access

ViewMetrics only accesses data necessary to provide its services, in accordance with:

  • The permissions you grant

  • The relevant platform’s API terms (e.g. Google / YouTube API Services Terms)

4.3 Disconnection

You may disconnect a third-party account at any time. Once disconnected:

  • No new data will be collected

  • Historical data may be retained in accordance with these Terms and our Privacy Policy

  • You may lose access to reports or features related to that account

5. Use of Data

5.1 Your data

You retain ownership of all content and data imported from third-party platforms.

5.2 Licence to ViewMetrics

You grant ViewMetrics a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to:

  • Store

  • Process

  • Analyse

  • Aggregate

  • Display

your data solely for the purpose of providing and improving the ViewMetrics service.

5.3 Aggregated and anonymised data

We may create anonymised or aggregated datasets for analytics, benchmarking, or product improvement. These datasets will not identify you or your channels.

6. Subscription Plans and Payment

6.1 Free and paid plans

ViewMetrics may offer free and paid plans with different features and limits. Details are described on our website or in-app.

6.2 Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis. Prices are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.

6.3 Changes and cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use ViewMetrics in violation of any law or regulation

  • Attempt to access data you are not authorised to access

  • Interfere with or disrupt the service

  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code

  • Use ViewMetrics to breach the terms of any third-party platform

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms.

8. Third-Party APIs and Platform Limitations

8.1 Dependency on third-party services

ViewMetrics relies on third-party APIs (including YouTube, Meta and TikTok). Availability, accuracy and completeness of data depend on those services.

We do not guarantee:

  • Continuous availability of third-party data

  • Accuracy of metrics supplied by third-party platforms

  • That historical data will always remain accessible

8.2 API changes

If a third-party platform changes or restricts its API, ViewMetrics may modify or remove affected features without liability.

9. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in ViewMetrics (excluding your content and data) belong to us or our licensors.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from ViewMetrics without our prior written consent.

10. Service Availability and Changes

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

We may:

  • Modify features

  • Add or remove functionality

  • Suspend the service for maintenance or upgrades

Where reasonably practicable, we will provide advance notice of material changes.

11. Disclaimer

ViewMetrics is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Analytics and reports are informational only and should not be relied upon as financial, legal, or commercial advice.

12. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by negligence

  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation

  • Any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law

Subject to the above, ViewMetrics shall not be liable for:

  • Loss of profits

  • Loss of business or revenue

  • Loss of data

  • Indirect or consequential loss

Our total liability in any 12-month period shall not exceed the fees paid by you to ViewMetrics in that period.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access:

  • If you breach these Terms

  • If required by law

  • To protect the integrity of the service

You may stop using ViewMetrics at any time.

14. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of ViewMetrics is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and process personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will notify you via the app or email.

Continued use of ViewMetrics after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
