TikTok is coming soon. We're working on it, but there is no timeline to share yet.
That is how Meta's API works: Instagram insights are available only for Business or Creator accounts that are linked to a Facebook Page, and ViewMetrics connects to the Instagram account through that Page. A personal Instagram account cannot be connected.
For Facebook and Instagram, your most recent content is imported first so the channel is usable quickly; the full back catalogue and its daily metrics follow in the background. For YouTube, the video list is imported first and every video's daily metric history is then backfilled in the background. Import jobs are processed every few minutes, and the app shows progress while they run.
YouTube: your full history. Facebook and Instagram: view history as far back as Meta's API provides; likes, comments and shares from the day you connect. Creator includes 365 days of history; Pro and Enterprise have no history limit.
YouTube channels are refreshed once a day. Facebook and Instagram content is refreshed on a cadence that depends on its age — new posts every day, older posts less often — and nothing is ever dropped from the schedule. Owners, admins and managers can also request a refresh from the app a limited number of times a day, which updates the last few days of analytics.
YouTube reports its analytics per Pacific-time day (midnight to midnight in Los Angeles), and ViewMetrics keeps that label for each day. Outside the Pacific time zone that day starts and ends at a different local time, which is why it can look shifted against your own calendar.
Engaged Views is a figure YouTube reports; ViewMetrics shows it beside Views for YouTube content and never calculates or estimates it. A day is shown as pending for the first few days after it, while YouTube may still report the figure; if YouTube never reports Engaged Views for that day, it is shown as unavailable. It is never filled in with Views or any other number.
YouTube's Analytics API does not provide a reach (unique viewers) metric, so ViewMetrics shows Reach as not available for YouTube content — never as 0 and never as an estimate. Reach is shown for Facebook and Instagram content where Meta reports it.
A dash or "Not available" means the platform does not report that metric for that content, so ViewMetrics has nothing to show. A 0 means the platform supports the metric and its value is zero. An unsupported metric is never shown as 0.
Every analytics page has two modes. "Views in time period" counts the views your content gained during the selected dates, whichever date it was published. "Lifetime views" shows the current all-time total for the content published during the selected dates.
ViewMetrics allocates each item's daily views across its channel's audience-country distribution for that day, using the nearest earlier snapshot when a day has none of its own. The split is therefore an estimate and never an authoritative figure, and YouTube Shorts carry no country attribution at all.
Yes! Download a PDF or CSV report and send it to the brand. You can make the report you're sending more personalised by using their logo and you can limit the reporting to a specific timeframe.
Creator is single-user; Pro and Enterprise include team members with roles. Members are owners, admins, managers or viewers, and every workspace has just one owner.
Yes. Each workspace connects the channel with its own credentials, and the channel's analytics are stored once and shared between them, so nothing is imported twice. Tags and brands are separate per workspace.
No. ViewMetrics is a paid product with three plans — Creator, Pro and Enterprise — billed monthly or annually.
Read-only ones. ViewMetrics asks Google for read-only access to your YouTube channel and its analytics, plus your email address to identify your account. It cannot change anything on your channel.
ViewMetrics asks Meta to return the list of Pages you manage. It reads your Pages' and Instagram accounts' insights, and it never posts, edits or messages on your behalf.
The channel's data is hidden in your workspace until someone reconnects it - nothing is deleted at that point, and reconnecting restores the view. If no workspace holds a working credential for the channel any more, its imported data is deleted after 30 days unless it is reconnected first.
Disconnecting a channel removes it from your workspace at once and, if no other workspace still has a working connection to it, its imported data is deleted after 7 days. Deleting your account starts the erasure of your personal data; a small number of records are kept where the law requires it, as described in our Privacy Policy. Any channel data that no other workspace still holds is deleted within 7 days.
